Basic Needs Case Management
Basic Needs Case Management serves low- and moderate-income residents of Centre County who require short-term case management to resolve a basic needs crisis. Basic Needs Case Managers provide emotional support, advocacy, education, budget counseling, and goal-setting. They can also help individuals navigate the resources and funding available in Centre County.
Below is a list of needs that the program can assist with:
Short-term rent and utility assistance
Assistance with other financial concerns relating to basic needs
Assistance with employment process
Budget counseling
Assistance with developing a viable plan to increase stability and sustainability
Referrals to other agencies in the community for help with food, housing, shelter, financial assistance, clothing, furniture, specialized case management, etc.
